Babies

Babies at Canterburys Nurseries are nurtured in a comfortable, relaxing environment where they are given the opportunity to explore a variety of textures and sensory stimulations that allow them to develop their rapidly developing communication and social skills.  Babies explore treasure baskets, recogising the work of Elinor Goldschmied, encouraging them to play with natural, everyday objects to make choices and develop preferences from a very young age.  Treasure baskets is a small step into Heuristic Play, allowing non-mobile children to take part.
